1. Who we are
This website, jacksiconvalley.com, is operated by Jacksicon Valley LLC (“Jacksicon Valley,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a software and AI development company located at 36 Christopher Columbus Blvd, Jackson, NJ 08527. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, through our communications with you, and through the applications and tools we build and operate. Where we build software for a client, that client’s own privacy policy governs the personal information its users provide, and we process that information only on the client’s instructions.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details such as your name, email address, phone number, and company name when you use our contact form, email us, or call us.
- Project and business information you choose to share about your needs, timeline, and goals.
- Engagement records such as agreements, invoices, and correspondence if you become a client or vendor.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and security data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, and timestamps — processed by our hosting and content-delivery provider to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
This website does not use analytics, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies or pixels, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Information from third parties
When you authorize one of our applications to connect to a third-party account (for example, Google), we receive only the data covered by the permissions you grant. See Google user data.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the services you request.
- To plan, build, deliver, support, and improve our work for clients.
- To operate, secure, and troubleshoot our website and applications, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
- To send service-related messages, such as project updates, confirmations, and invoices.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not use it to train general-purpose AI models.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We disclose it only:
- With service providers that help us run our business — such as website hosting and content delivery, email delivery, cloud infrastructure, and productivity tools — under contracts that limit their use of the information to providing services to us.
- With your direction or consent, for example when you ask us to coordinate with another vendor.
- For legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jacksicon Valley, our clients, or others.
- In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Google user data
Some of our applications let authorized users connect Google services (for example, Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Google Search Console) so we can manage, report on, or improve accounts they own or are authorized to manage. When you grant access:
- We request only the scopes needed for the feature you use, and we use the data solely to provide that feature to you.
- We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security purposes, to comply with law, or when aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account’s security settings, and you can ask us to delete data we obtained through Google APIs.
Jacksicon Valley’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
6. Text messages (SMS)
If you agree to receive text messages from us, we use your mobile number only to send the messages you requested, such as project or appointment updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with service providers that deliver messages on our behalf.
7. Cookies and tracking
We do not set analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting and security provider may set strictly necessary cookies to detect bots and protect the site; these do not track you across other websites. We honor browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing — although we do neither.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Inquiries that don’t lead to an engagement are typically deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept for the duration of the relationship and afterward as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Security logs are kept for a short period, generally no more than 90 days.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, and an organization-managed password vault. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, New Jersey, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other U.S. states with privacy laws — you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and receive a portable copy;
- Correct inaccurate personal information;
- Delete personal information we collected from you;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling (we do not engage in these); and
- Appeal our decision about your request.
To exercise a right, email hello@jacksiconvalley.com or call (732) 654-2600. We will verify your request using information you have already provided and respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days). You may use an authorized agent, who must provide proof of authorization. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To appeal a decision, reply to our response with the subject line “Privacy appeal.” For data deletion specifically, see our Data Deletion page.
California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes; we make no such disclosures.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
